Middle School JV and Varsity volleyball
Coach Lianne Thurlow played varsity volleyball throughout high school and continued to play on a competitive recreation league through her mid-twenties.
Her love for coaching started while assisting the Epping High School's varsity coach, also her sister, Marilyn Wallace. She then went on to assist coach at Somersworth Middle School where she became head coach for the JV team and eventually moved into the coaching position for varsity. When the coaching position at Nute opened up in 2016, she was excited to start a new adventure and work with a great group of people.
Lianne attended White Pines College where she majored in photojournalism with a minor in graphic design and then continued her education at UNH where she received her associate's degree for graphic design and portrait photography. She now resides in Milton with her husband and two small boys who are also part of the Milton School System.
Lianne owns her own business in photography and graphic design but in her spare time she enjoys bringing her kids to soccer and basketball, helping with the local Boy Scout group and the PTA Reflections program. She is also part of Granite State Choral and performs in local theater shows.
