Another edge-of-your-seat game against St. Mary's Thursday October 5th

JV started off strong with some really great serves but lack of communication, hustle and teamwork left the JV with two unwanted wins against Saint Mary's. Even though it was a loss for the JV's I was extremely impressed with the amount of growth in service and serve receive from these girls. Game 1 final score 25 St Mary's 20 Nute. Game 2 final score 25 St. Mary's 12 Nute.

Varsity's game was a seesaw of good and bad. They started off a little slow with some great volleys ending in St Mary's points. Nute brought it back by getting their three hit control over the ball but then lost it again with lack of communication. Trying to stay positive Nute brought it back to win the first of three stressful games against Saint Mary's. Game 1 final score 26 St Mary's 28 Nute

Game 2 was just as edge-of-your-seat excitement as the first game. Nute had a lot of great plays, three hits, wonderful digs and some great serve receives from Penelope Ayotte,  Jade Brown and Carolyn Griffin. Unfortunately lack of communication, game pressure and playing as individuals gave Nute a loss on the second game against Saint Mary's. 25 Saint Mary's 16 Nute.

Moving into third game with the 50-50 chance of winning put a lot of pressure on the Nute Varsity. After some mistakes on Court and lack of communication Nute was unable to bring in a win on the third game for their second season loss. 15 St Mary's 10 Nute
